# Word Preparation #

## tourist destination: 旅游景点；旅游胜地 ##

Yosemite National Park is a big tourist destination.  
Yosemite 国家公园是一个旅游胜地。

It might be crowded there because it’s a famous tourist destination.  
那个旅游景点很有名气，所以可能会很拥挤。

## in person: 亲自，本人，当面 ##

if you do something or go somewhere in person, you do it or go there yourself.

I’m so happy I got to see Oprah Winfrey in person.  
能亲眼见到Oprah Winfrey本人，我真是太高兴了。

I’ve only seen Anne Hathaway in movies and never in person.  
我只能从电影里看得到Anne Hathaway，她本人我没有亲眼见到过。

## incredible: 难以置信的；不可思议的 ##

impossible, or very difficult, to believe

The way that singer sang was incredible.  
那位歌手的唱法真是太赞了。

You can hear many incredible stories on the news.  
你可以从新闻中收听到很多奇闻。

## Grand Canyon：大峡谷 ##

I am always looking-for picture-perfect places to take my family to.

This view of the beach and the sun is picture-perfect.

# Grammar #

## ‘have been to’ vs. ‘have gone to’ ##

have been to 表示 “曾经去过”，现在不在那个地方了；have gone to 表示 “去了”，现在已经到达那个地方。

*  I’ve been to Italy many times. Milan is the one that I like the most.
 *  He seems to know the city quite well. He may have been there before.
 *  Linda could not have gone to America, because I saw her on the street yesterday.
