Fail to start anaconda navigator on windows 10； ImportError: cannot import name ‘HTTPSHandler‘

Phenomenon

I installed my anaconda-win_64 on my windows and then start the Anaconda-navigator. However, the program can’t be open and I can’t see any error message.

Find Out the Error Message

You should open the Anaconda Prompt and type “anaconda-navigator”. And then, you can get the error messages why you can’t open the anaconda.

The error messages I got is “ImportError: cannot import name ‘HTTPSHandler’ from ‘urllib.request’
“

Fix This Problem

Can’t connect to HTTPS URL because the SSL module is not available

The issue clearly explains the causes and solution.

In simple words, the only thing you need to do is install or reinstall your OpenSSL.
