## marketplace: 集市 ##

The best time to shop at the marketplace is early in the morning.

You can buy anything you want at the marketplace.

## vendor: 小贩，摊主 ##

someone who sells things outdoors

Most of the vendors sell food at that marketplace.

Jack has been working as a street vendor for almost two years.

## be worth it: 某事或某物很值得 ##

# Grammar #

## 情态动词 - 表达请求 ##

英语中表达请求的情态动词 (Modal Verb) 有will, would, can, could。  
其中will和can在非正式场合下使用。例如 Will you answer the phone? (家人或熟人之间不需要太客气的场合)。  
would和could用于礼貌的请求。例如 Would you type this report?

除此之外，我们还可以 Would you mind + Do-ing 这种结构来礼貌的表达请求。例如 Would you mind waiting for a few minutes? 可以回答 Not at all，表示OK，没问题，I can wait.

*  Will you phone me later, Zoe?
 *  Would you open the door?
 *  — Could I use your computer?  
    — Yes, you can.
 *  — Would you mind waiting for another hour? I haven’t finished my work yet.
